I just wanted to thank you for providing Lauren and Andrew with what I think is the most beautiful wedding cake I have ever seen. Our wedding cake, created by Cakewalk Catering, is truly one of the most memorable and beautiful aspects of our wedding. During the planning process, we explained the overall look we were going for – simple, elegant, classic and yet unique, our colour scheme – white, white and more white with a subtle lavender accent and selected the cake flavours, filling and frosting from the beautiful mini-cakes Rebecca Bell prepared for us. With the little information we provided, Rebecca was able to create our dream cake and the perfect finishing touch to our wedding. From the attention to detail in the intricate designs used on each layer, to the gorgeous bow used as a topper, to the absolutely delicious cake, to the impeccable customer service, not a single detail was overlooked. The end result – a vision and mouthful of perfection. Remembering the days of being a busy, excited and high-maintenance bride-to-be, I can’t imagine our wedding without the creativity, professionalism and outstanding experience we had with Cakewalk Catering. Thanks to Amie, I recently had the opportunity of tasting your Chunky Monkey Rum Cake and I wanted to personally congratulate you on such an incredible masterpiece. The cake literally melts in your mouth and triggers and explosion of flavor and chocolaty goodness. The Rum dosage was beyond perfect… (And having attempted a few “Baba au Rhum” myself, I know how hard that can be). You may rest assured that you have a fan up here in Montreal.
