It’s the Smash Cake Muskoka style. Smash cakes are fun for all ages, who wouldn’t love breaking through a layer of pure Belgian chocolate to discover a cache of chocolate coins, candies or another cake inside. It is made with a hollow chocolate mold which can be made in various shapes and sizes from a beaver dam to a hockey puck. Once the mold is set the options for fillings are limitless. The most important part is the smashing tool. It could be a rubber mallet, mini hockey stick, or mini Muskoka paddle.
